Information We Collect
When you request a quote, ask for samples, or contact us, we collect what you give us: your name, phone number, email, mailing address (for samples and deliveries), and project details such as square footage and the products you're interested in.
We also record how you found us, such as the ad, search result or guide you arrived from. This is kept in our own customer records so we know which of our marketing works.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to respond to your request, send samples, prepare quotes, fulfil orders, and follow up about your project. Our team is notified when a new request arrives. We do not sell your personal information for money.
If you give us a phone number, we may call or text you about your request. Standard message rates apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or just tell us.
Advertising
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, which are run by Meta. To measure whether those ads work, and to show them to people more likely to want flooring, we use two Meta tools:
- The Meta Pixel, a small script on our public pages. It tells Meta which pages were visited and when a form was submitted, and it sets a cookie for that purpose. It does not run in our internal systems.
- The Meta Conversions API. When you submit a form, our server tells Meta that a request was made. Your email, phone number, name, city and ZIP code are converted into a scrambled code (hashed) before they leave our server, so Meta can match the request to an ad without receiving those details in readable form. Your street address is never sent.
We may also give Meta a hashed list of existing customers so that our ads are not shown to people who have already bought from us.
Under California law, sharing information for this kind of advertising can count as “sharing” personal information. You can opt out below at any time.
Your Privacy Choices
Opting out stops the Meta Pixel on this site and stops our server from sending your form submissions to Meta. We also honour Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends that signal, we treat it as an opt-out automatically.
Advertising measurement is on. Opt out and we'll stop sharing your activity on this site with Meta.
This choice is saved in this browser. If you use another browser or device, or clear your cookies, set it again there.
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no agreed standard for it, so we do not respond to it. We do honour Global Privacy Control, which is the signal California law recognises, and the control above.
To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, contact us using the details below. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
Cookies and Analytics
Our site analytics (Vercel Analytics) are cookieless and count visits in aggregate without identifying you. The only advertising cookie is the Meta Pixel's, described above, and it is not set if you opt out.
Service Providers
We use service providers to run this website and our business: website hosting, our customer database, a form service that emails us quote requests, and Meta for advertising as described above. They handle your information only to provide those services to us.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep quote and order records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet tax and warranty obligations, normally seven years. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will unless we are required to keep it.
Children
This site is meant for people buying building materials. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to This Policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted here.
